About Ja'Duke Theater
The Ja’Duke dream began in 1997 with its first production Man of La Mancha. It is fitting that the signature song for that show is “The Impossible Dream.” It is hard to believe that 20 years later Ja’Duke’s “impossible dream” would be coming to life with a new multi-million dollar arts complex serving the children and families of our communities. The main purpose of this dream is to have a center where children and families could come and experience multi-generational arts education and performance opportunities. Sharing the arts with thousands of students, performing hundreds of productions, serving over 100,000 patrons, and sharing our love for performance has shown no dream is really impossible when a community comes together through the arts!
In 2007, we started our journey in this dream by building our current space. Beyond our wildest expectation, we have since outgrown our current facility and have seen the growing need for our own performance space. Our dream is even brighter today as we embark on the next step of our impossible dream.
Coming in 2019, Ja’Duke Theater! A 500 seat, state of the art, full fly performance space with two additional educational rooms, and 175 parking spaces. This new complex (which connects to our current building) will provide Ja’Duke and the community a space to enrich lives through the arts 365 days a year.
Thank you for being part of our dream and sharing in our future with us. Ja’Duke, the arts, and the children of Franklin County Thank you for your support! Remember there is no such thing as the “impossible dream”, for indeed dreams do come true.
